Answers to common questions about exterior cleaning

General Questions

Yes! I’m licensed, bonded, and insured in Washington state.  You can verify my license here APCONCL773JS.

Pricing depends on roof size, gutter length, access, and the amount of moss or debris. My minimum service charge is $300. Most customers spend between $400 and $1,500 or more. I’ll provide a clear quote after inspecting the property.

No. Each visit is priced for the work needed. Regular maintenance often costs less because there is less buildup to remove.

I specialize in roof cleaning, gutter cleaning, and roof moss treatment. If you need something else, I can refer you to a trusted professional.

Yes. If you are not satisfied, contact me. I’ll review the concern and either correct the issue at no additional cost or refund the service.

Roof Moss Removal

I use a careful brush-only method—never pressure washing—to remove moss. I collect and remove the debris when the work is complete.

I use careful brush-only methods designed to avoid unnecessary wear on roofing materials. I’ll assess your roof’s condition before recommending the work.

Most jobs range from a few hours to one to two days, depending on roof size, access, weather, and moss buildup. I’ll explain the expected timing with your estimate.

Roof Blow-Off

I remove loose leaves, pine needles, dirt, and organic debris using a leaf blower and push broom. It is a simple preventive-maintenance service.

Homes near trees often benefit from a roof blow-off every six to twelve months. How quickly leaves and needles build up will help determine the timing. I’ll recommend a practical schedule based on your roof’s condition.

Gutter Cleaning

I remove leaves, needles, and other debris from your gutters and clear clogged downspouts to help restore proper water flow. Service-related debris is collected and removed when the work is finished.

It depends on nearby trees, how quickly debris builds up, and how well your gutters drain. I’ll recommend a practical maintenance schedule based on your property’s condition.

Overflowing water, slow drainage, visible debris, or plants growing in the gutters can indicate buildup. If you’re unsure, I can inspect your gutters during a free on-site estimate and recommend the work needed.

Roof Moss Treatment

It is the application of a moss-control product to the roofing surface. I primarily use powdered zinc sulfate monohydrate, applied wet or dry, to control moss and slow future growth.

I generally recommend roof moss treatment once a year. Shade, moisture, and moss growth can affect how often it’s needed. I’ll assess your roof’s condition and recommend a practical schedule.

Treatment helps control moss but does not physically remove thick buildup. Heavy moss may need brush removal first.

I don’t offer baking soda as a roof moss treatment because I don’t consider it a dependable substitute for a dedicated moss control product.
